Reliability Testing

Reliability tests are statistically based sampling tests performed to approximate the long term reliability of a product before products are mass produced in manufacturing. The testing is performed under a controlled test environment over specific time and temperature durations. These tests also provide acceleration factors that are used to estimate the Mean Time To Failure, (MTTF) and Mean Time Between Failure, (MTBF) life expectancies of a product under test.
